This
is the best cable I have ever heard-by a big margin over
most all, and a surprisingly significant amount over my
previous favorite, the Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx. I still can't
believe how much better it is. My system has never sounded
better. More people should hear these, why would anyone
pay $4,000 for a pair of Xxxxxxxxxx with some gobbledygook
RC network in an expensive box, when this is available with
no bullshit? It's also great that you don't make any secrets
about the construction technique, and provide measurements.
Wait 'till my friends at Listen Up and Soundings hear this.
Thanks
again.
Your
cable set brings the excitement of a live performance off
the recordings, like nothing else I've heard. This is the
only connecting medium which achieved true detail without
introducing brightness, it surpasses other top of range
products by a very wide margin. There is an improvement
in enjoyability which I haven't experienced with any other
interconnects or anything else I've listened to. It has
that mark of true quality, it sounds better as you listen
to it more. Well done!!
It
was with high expectations that I received a complete set
of your Nirvana cable range. This included the SL series interconnect
and speaker cables (double sets for bi-wiring), the T-2 (75ohm)
digital cable and both types of power cords (for analogue
and digital equipment).
Since arrival your cables have seriusly been tested and compared
with a number of other (high end) cables in selected solid
state and tube equipped audio systems.
After nearly 25 years of listening and testing various high
quality audio products, it's been a rare experience having
listened to cables with true musical qualities. The Nirvana
cables though, are designed with transmission qualities resulting
in more musicality, more accuracy, more transparency and more
silence than other competitive audio cables.
Nirvana cables present a large deep focused soundstage with
holographic qualities never before experienced. The phenomenal
silence within the cables becomes very evident as fast flowing
(almost unaudiable) details are presented with focus and precence.
Tonal balance and lack of inherent distorsion enables voices
to be reproduced with particular ease and neutrality. Dynamics,
and notingly, micro dynamics are exceptional. Extension of
lows and heights are superb, allowing musical information
at the frequency extremes to be reproduced with phenomenal
ease and accuracy. Brightness and harsness presented at times
in other expensive competitive cables, does not in any situation
occur when using Nirvana.
The substancial sonic improvements we have experienced is
in relation to the number of Nirvana cables used in each audio
system. A well defined and balanced synergy applies to all
the various types of cables within the Nirvana range. I seriously
recommend each and everyone to try Nirvana power cords together
with other Nirvana signal cables in their systems.
Stephen, you have done much more than a good job when designing
the Nirvana cable range. You have implemented some of your
musical requirements, allowing us (gratefully) to purchase
and enjoy a part of musical Nirvana.

I
have to say, I was very skeptical that a change in cables
would make much of a difference, but I was wrong on that
point. The sound is both cleaner and much richer and complex.
I am a convert.
I
want to thank you both again for the cables. They're really
terrific.
Best
wishes,

Happiness!
After
comparing nine different digital cables, some of which have
received glowing reviews in the audiophile press, I've settled
upon the Nirvana digital cable as the most glorious of the
lot. In my high-end system, this cable beats many very well
regarded cable brands.
Even
before it had "seated" in my system, the Nirvana
digital cable eliminated the boomy bass and timbral inaccuracies
that have plagued my listening for many too many months.
The Nirvana offers solid and tight bass, a glorious midrange
and huge soundstage, and thrilling three-dimensionality.
There is a spaciousness about its presentation that I have
heard from no other cable.
When
I was testing cables, my sound and mastering engineer friend
Bob came over to take a listen. We played less than two
seconds of a Branford Marsalis CD before he said, "That's
it. The saxophone sounds exactly like a saxophone."
I heard the same thing on Sara K's "I've Got a Right
to Sing the Blues." The guitar sounded exactly like
a guitar, with all the resonance of the instrument's metal
strings and wooden body that one would hope to hear.
I
am discovering elements in recordings I never heard before.
Last night, I played Lou Harrison's Varied Trio, as performed
by my friends in the Abel-Steinberg-Winant trio. For the
first time since hearing this piece performed live, I recognized
the knocking sound in one of the movements as Julie Steinberg
rapping her fist on the piano. It was that clear. In addition,
the attack on the gongs, and their resonance and decay in
space, seemed startingly natural. And David Abel's violin
playing was so sweet and filled with feeling. It was like
listening to this much-loved recording anew.
Finally,
the promise offered by all my expensive equipment has been
realized. Instrumental and vocal timbres now seem true on
everything I'm playing. Turned up, a full orchestra at last
sounds like a full orchestra, rather than a recording of
various instruments playing orchestral music. To think that
I have deprived myself of this experience for the past 18
months, simply because I had bought a highly-touted used
digital cable without audition and unquestioningly installed
it in my system. What a difference a change in one single
cable can make!
After
a long and frustrating journey, I've discovered that nothing
short of Nirvana will do. (With such a spiritual name, how
could it be otherwise?)
